Hello, I’m Jaiden
A Clarinetist, Private Instructor, and Repair Technician based out of Albuquerque, NM.
I graduated from Central Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and am currently pursuing a master’s degree at the University of New Mexico.
My experience includes solo performances, chamber music, large ensembles, and working with students in marching band programs throughout Washington and New Mexico State. Through these opportunities, I’ve helped students develop confidence, musicianship, and strong performance skills in both individual and ensemble settings. I have also had the opportunity to perform twice at the World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles Conference, as well as in many other performances throughout my academic and professional career. These experiences have shaped both my teaching and performing approach and continue to influence the way I work with students today.
Through these experiences, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with talented musicians, learn from experienced educators, and continue to grow as both a performer and a teacher. I’ve studied with respected clarinet instructors and ensemble directors, including Joseph Brooks, Jeffrey Brooks, Larry Guy, T. Andre Feagin, and Emily Moss.
Whether you are just beginning on clarinet or looking to further develop your skills, my goal is to help students build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a lasting appreciation for music.

Why do I teach music lessons?
Music brings me joy because it connects people in a way few things can. No matter someone’s background or language, music creates shared experiences and emotions. Teaching music gives me the chance to help students grow not only as musicians, but as people. I enjoy watching students gain confidence, work through challenges, and feel proud of what they accomplish. Being part of that process and seeing students express themselves through music is what makes teaching meaningful to me.
My Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy focuses on helping students build both musical skills and confidence. I believe every student learns differently, so I try to adapt my teaching to fit their individual needs and goals. I aim to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving over time. Along with developing strong fundamentals and technique, I want students to enjoy the process of making music and find personal meaning in it. My goal is to help students grow not only as musicians, but also as confident and creative individuals.
What can students expect?
I want every student to feel supported, encouraged, and confident in their musical growth. Lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals, learning style, and experience level, creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving over time. Whether a student is preparing for auditions, working on fundamentals, or simply wanting to become a more confident musician, my goal is to help them grow at their own pace while building strong technique, musical understanding, and a genuine enjoyment for playing the clarinet.
